Project-Based Learning Classes

At AMAzing Youth, we offer interactive project-based learning courses designed to enhance your child’s creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Our curriculum integrates key subjects like math, reading, writing, science, history, and the arts, providing a well-rounded project curriculum. With a focus on personalized learning, students take the lead in their learning as they engage in hands-on projects such as sustainable gardening, historical reenactments, and creative arts, fostering both academic growth and real-world application. All of our projects are adaptable for students ages 5 to 17.


All of our project-based learning classes are 1.5 hours sessions. Classes may meet two to four times per week depending on the project.

Project Fees

Materials are included in all project fees.

Tier 1 Projects

Tier I projects typically meet two times per week and are two weeks long. 

Monthly:
1 Project - $120
2 Projects - $216

Semester:
1 Project - $500
2 Projects - $972

Tier II Projects

Tier II projects typically meet three to four times per week and are typically two to four weeks long.

Monthly:
1 Project - $200
2 Projects - $360

Tier III Projects

Tier III projects typically meet four times per week and are generally six weeks long. Tier lII projects are priced by the project.

Sustainable Community (Tier II)

1/6/25 - 1/16/25: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM

This two-week project integrates science, math, reading, and writing as students design a sustainable community that addresses environmental challenges. They will explore concepts of energy, waste management, biodiversity, and resource use. The project will culminate in a presentation of their community.

The Pioneer's Journey (Tier II)

1/6/25 - 1/16/25: 10:45 AM - 12:15 PM

This two-week project combines math, science, history, writing, and creative arts as students plan and simulate a journey westward as if they were pioneers in the 1800s. They will research the historical context of westward expansion, the challenges pioneers faced, and the methods of transportation available at the time. The project will culminate in a presentation of their pioneer journey.

Voices of the Past: A Black History Journey (Tier III)

1/20/25 - 2/28/25: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM

In this six-week project, students will combine social studies, reading, writing, performance arts, and technology to research a historical event and bring it to life through either live performance or a multimedia documentary. It engages them in creative storytelling, historical analysis, and multimedia production.

Exploring African American Heritage Through Culture & Arts (Tier III)

1/20/25 - 2/28/25: 10:45 AM - 12:15 PM

This six-week project combines social studies, reading, writing, visual arts, music, and performance arts. Students will explore the richness of African American culture and arts, focusing on historical and contemporary contributions in music, visual arts, and performance. The project culminates in a creative showcase for our Black History Month Program where students present original works inspired by their studies.
